Set status-bar icon contrast while fonts load and after the app mounts, and use phone-neutral pairing instructions in the fallback screen.

Validation: full 715-file test runner, root/harness/desktop/mobile typechecks, Biome lint/check, and docs checks pass. Rendered light/dark loading states and both platform pairing states are covered; Android native pairing screens were inspected.
