The bash tool's exec engine moves from execFileCompat to platform/proc.run,
so a timed-out or aborted 'pwsh -Command' / 'bash -lc' wrapper no longer
leaves its grandchildren (npm, dev servers, builds) running — POSIX children
run detached and the whole group is killed, win32 uses taskkill /T. Same
errorCode contract; closes migration row 14.
