cleanupTerminalState (which deletes the file-search store) runs strictly
AFTER the status→failed persist that the test's waitFor observes, so
asserting the delete synchronously right after was a latent race — it passed
in isolation but lost the race under full-suite CPU contention. Wait for the
delete mock call itself. Pre-existing structure (identical on main); surfaced
by the added platform test files shifting suite timing.
