Both entrances used to cut: the panel faded out and the finished app shell
was simply there. A one-shot sessionStorage handoff carries the movement
across the navigation instead, so the panel leaving and the product landing
read as one gesture.

The fade wraps the whole shell rather than the feed. Arriving from
onboarding the rail and sidebar are new too, and having them snap in around
a fading page was the tell. It is consumed once, so a plain visit to the
dashboard stays still.

Onboarding also picks up the diagonals the auth pages use, which puts the
whole account-creation path on one ground.
